| Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can we bring animals ? A: Since animals’ response to heat varies from human, we recommend participants NOT to bring any animals considering the forecasted hot weather. You should also observe any restrictions that may be imposed on animals within the Victoria Park area. Q: What should I bring to the march? A: You must bring sufficient water to prevent dehydration. We also encourage people to bring their own sign post and/or banners to show their own views and demands. Q: I am not sure if I agree with General Election. Should I join the march then? A: Apart from the main theme, “7-1” have, in the past, been valuable occasions where citizens can freely express their views and demands in a wide range of issues. We value this opportunity of free speech and the realization of democratic society. Q: When and where will the march start? A: The march will commence at 3:00pm from the Victoria Park. To better organize ourselves as a sub-group, we will get prepared at 2:00pm at the Handball Court (next to the main Tennis Court). Due to possible traffic congestion, please arrive early in order not to miss the group. Q: How to get to the assembly? A: To get to the Handball Court, you may take the MTR and get off at the Tin Hau Station where it’s closest to the swimming pool entrance of Victoria Park. (Please observe any contingency traffic arrangement by the police) |
